This particular 1959 Lincoln is one of the most original versions we have seen. The deep purple paint job is as far as we know the original color, and is contrasted by the black and white genuine leather interior. From what we are told, the current owner acquired this from the collector who bought it from the original owner. Likewise, we understand that this vehicle has been warehoused the last 3 decades and was garage stored before that by it's owner. Thus, it has not been subject to all the rust and deteriation that most nearly 50-year-old Midwestern cars would experience. The car has recently been flat bedded to its current outside storage facility and needs to be sold before the elements take their toll. This is a loaded car and has almost ever luxury accessory imaginable including: power steering, brakes, seats and windows. It also has the RARE breezeway power rear window. It does not have air conditioning. It still has the original finned hubcaps, and even the Lincoln stand up star hood ornament. Although the interior is still the original genuine black and white leather, it is starting to show its age, and is starting to crack. |
