||SOLD BUT WE HAVE A 59 WAGON AVAILABLE. This station wagon was part of a Museum display out West and was acquired by a Midwestern Museum some 20 years ago and displayed until the Museum closed in the early 1990's. Since then it has been moved to several storage facilities and most recently flat bedded to an outside fenced storage facility to be sold. Since it was a Western vehicle, it was not subject to all the rust, rot and deterioration most Midwestern cars experience.
The original black and silver gray cloth and vinyl interior appears to be in relatively good condition and most likely some repair and a good shampooing would do wonders. It will need new tires and a new battery.
We are told that the automatic transmission was gone over a number of years ago and the push button drive (buttons are uniquely placed in the center of the steering wheel) was redone at the same time. Although we have started this vehicle as recently as last month, and the big V-8 sounds good, it has not actually been driven out on the road for the last 2 decades.
