The 10th Anniversary International Route 66 Mother Road Festival & Car Show
Over 1,000 cool cars and 80,000 spectators will roll into the heart of Springfield's historic downtown this September for a weekend of family fun in the sun and non-stop live music and entertainment! Come celebrate the golden age of Route 66.the cars, the music, the food, the friends..all brought together along Illinois' Route 66.
Event features include:
. Friday Rt. 66 City Nights Cruise - over 1,000 classic cars and trucks cruise the city streets!
. Check out Horsepower Alley with high horsepower features like the Mickey Thompson Tires BURNOUT Competition and Lucas Oil DYNO CHALLENGE presented by E3 Spark Plugs!
. See gorgeous rides in the Monet of Cars
. The Travel Illinois Expo showcasing unique travel opportunities to Route 66 motorists traveling through Illinois communities along the Mother Road
. Live Entertainment -on the Hot Rod Stage with classic hits from the 50's, 60's & 70's from "The Neverly Brothers" (Friday), "Route 66 Music Tour," "Rewind," and "Captain Rat & The Blind Rivets" (Saturday)!
. Poker Race brought to you by Downtown Springfield, Inc. (Saturday, 10am - 4pm)
. Performance Marketplace for the restoration enthusiast
. Over 40 classes of car awards with CASI certified national judging!

Pre-register at www.Route66Fest.com or by calling 1-866-RTE-66IL (1-866-783-6645) through Monday, September 19th for $35 plus a $3 handling fee. Registration includes weekend admission for the vehicle. Register on site for $50 beginning on Thursday Sept. 22nd 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm (630 South 6th Street, Ansar Shrine Temple). All years, makes and models are accepted. Free T-shirt with entry!
